Replacement springs for Cherry MX brown switches?

Kiol

I couldn't find a solid answer online on which set of springs I should purchase for replacing the ones in my current Cherry MX brown keyboard to get rid of the pinging noise that some keys were making. I purchased a set of 45g springs but they were too light compared to the ones that were factory-placed.

I've read some people say 55g and others 62g. I could use some help as to what springs are actually inside.

The keyboard is CoolerMaster MasterKeys Pro S RGB.

You could lube the spring to try to get rid of the ping noise. The MX Brown has an actuation force of 45 cN +-20 cN, and a bottom out force of 55 cN +-25 cN. So there can be quite a bit of inconsistency. The 45g vs 55-62g is likely actuation force vs bottom out force, with the tolerance.

I would recommend you use TX or Spirt "s" springs, and lube them with an oil like GPL105. But in the end is it really worth it to de-solderer all those switches to just swap the springs in those switches? Why not get some better switches or a better board?
