Best Video Editing Laptop

Sup y'all,

long time no talking.

So I'm currently in film school and i need a laptop for 4k(and some 6k/8k) video editing...

I have no boundary on price i just need like three other things.

-Thin and light(i have a desktop, this is used fro classes and on the shot)

- at least 15" screen

-It can be Windows or Mac-OS (if that's really the best)

Thanks for your help!

For Mac, check the 2019 MacBook Pro 2019 with the Vega 20 Graphics in my signature, it's superb.

1 hour ago, That Guy said:

Sup y'all,

Probably whatever lenovo is currently offering, with at least an RTX 2060/2070

But thin, and 4k editing/rendering really aren't a good combo

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

for video editing, you probably want a high end display with color accurate profiles.

xps 15 is good but it has its issues. there are others out there too
