U would be better off buying a non branded mouse.

 

Having been an owner in the past of Microsoft Mice and Keyboards i can honestly say they are over priced for what they are, ur just paying for the name.

i tried buying a non branded one yesterday and it was horriable i couldn't even pvp on mc i am currently using

a 10 dollar walmart mouse thats all messedup

It all depends your palm. Using a small mouse for gaming is painful for me.

I tend to use very high sensitivities for day-to-day use at work, so a mouse that I can manipulate with my fingers alone is pretty necessary. An overly bulky mouse, or god forbid, one of those vertical mice would make this quite difficult. Granted, it's not the most comfortable way to use the mouse, but for what I'm doing, it is the fastest.

 

Thankfully, decent mice allow for the best of both worlds in regards to confort, but functional profile and grip. Perhaps someone should inform my company of this revolution.

 

At home, I use a Corsair Harpoon. It is low profile enough that precision work isn't a problem, and large enough to relax a bit as well

Honestly, I'm sure the mouse is fine and does its basic job, but there's so many cheap Logitech and other no-name brands out there, you should probably just get one of those. The biggest drawback to this Microsoft one is I don't even see any additional buttons on the sides. I was at Walmart the other day and they had a $10 Blackweb brand which is actually quite solid for your basic, generic mouse. As I was walking by, I played with a few of them just because I always do. For $10, it felt like your typical solid mouse and has extra buttons. It's certainly no gaming mouse, but it'll do just fine if you're not trying for some extreme competitive world records. It'll certainly do you better than the Microsoft mouse, simply because you have more buttons at your disposal. And this mouse is just one of many similar at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc...
