Ryzen 2600x OC

My little Ryzen 5 2600 sits at 4.1 Ghz with 1.31V. 
Temperatures are awesome regarding my 8 year old case with onse small fan in the front and back. :D
Got 31xx sth points on Cinebench R20

Why are you guys talking so much about cooling solutions? not like it was an issue with the actual setup, i would work on RAM overclocking and reduce voltage to around 1.38-1.40 and as much clock speed as it run handle on stress test. The 212 evo is not a issue and can handle the 2600 just fine.

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...

well he was baffled at the 212 black being able to handle 1.45 and even 1.5 lol. same as me. it runs at 4.1 with 1.4v so thats perfectly fine for now. sure ill try dram but maybe when i have researched more about it :P

A cooler as nothing to do with what voltage you will need to send to your CPU to run at a certain speed, it as something to do with CPU temperature and thats about it. I ran a 2400G on a B450 DS3H 3.9ghz at 1.42volts with the stock cooler, same voltage and speed with a Be Quiet Slim but cooler. Then i bought a Crosshair VII and the same 2400G was able to run at 4.0ghz with 1.36 volts at even cooler temps because voltage is lower. Board quality determine how many volts you will have to use, not the cooler.

sure but a cooler decides whether your cpu can handle the voltage heat :P
