Currently I have a:

  1. Ryzen 7 1700
  2. GTX 1070 strix 8GB
  3. msi procarbon motherboard
  4. 960evo m.2
  5. 2TB HDD
  6. cooler master AIO liquid cooler

is it worth me selling my pc and upgrading to a new one because I want to be able to play the new triple AAA games such as the new CoD with comfortable FPS at 144Hz

Depends, is your current PC good for that usage or not?
I can imagine just a GPU and CPU upgrade would do the trick for your usage too.
