Hi thank you for all the help. I finally fixed my fan speed using a PSU splitter or Molex adaptor idk what its called. still the culprit is mobos fan header damaged or some chip is not working properly. Heres the results.

Hello, so I am having a problem with my fan speed stuck at 1000 rpm. When I am gaming my temps are 80-90 Celsius nearly going 100 Celsius. It seems to be stuck rpm at 20 or 30% speed and not going up when heavy loaded. I need maximum fan speed all the time because my pc is always on heavy load and I game alot. I tried SpeedFan but to no avail. worse is I put back my old stock fan and set it to maximum rpm on BIOS and still at 1000 rpm. before I was getting 2000 to 3000+ RPM, Now its stuck at 1000.

One more thing is SpeedFan is Detecting a "Badwinbond" thing. I'll provide more information.

Mobo: emx-mcp61d3-icafe

Cooler: Deep CCool Iceedge Mini FS v2.0 2200±10%RPM.

If theres more information needed I love to provide it. Thank you

Can you give screenshot which would show fan rpm under load? From current pics I only see idle/low load rpms. Not really showing the actual issue you have.

Reading online, it seems like the bad Winbond error comes from a conflict between different applications.

Try only using one monitoring / control application at a time.

this is what it looks like. Fan still at 1000rpm and the temps keeps on rising. i had to stop the load because it may shut down any moment.

Ok, this may sound odd, but do you get option to select fan "speed" from HWMonitor? If you click right button on the value.

Reasoning being that HWMonitor should show you rpm and not the 30%. Percentage means control options or set control value (based on own experience). It being like that, and added what @WoodenMarker

Said, I would say that you have accidentally set target value from HWMonitor and that's causing this.

sorry for not replying immediately. I got a 4 pin fan which is good because i can adjust the speed on the BIOS. the problem is before i can max its speed through BIOS, now it does not work.

My conclusion is the Header of my cpu is damaged that it under volts a 12v Fan to half. I got 4 & 3 pin Fans. My final option for me is to try to power the fan though the PSU molex using an adapter. on what i've searched. connecting the fan to psu makes the fan run at max speed.

by then i can determine if either the fan or the headers or even the mobo itself is the problem. I'll post the results after trying it out.

still using my pc for gaming while case is open and supporting it with a normal electric fan.

Have you tried using only one program for monitoring?
