Nexus 5X not booting

So I got a call from my mother the other day telling me that her phone charger had died and I should buy her a new one. Once I arrived with a brand new USB C cable and tried it I noticed that the phone won't turn on, it will show the Google logo, then freeze and then shut down. No led while it's plugged in, nothing. Now I am asking what is broken, it is the charging port or the battery? or maybe the motherboard is failing? I can't get it into recovery mode either. What can I try before going to the repair shop or buying new components?

OK... did you try to get into recovery mode? 

Sorry lol... did you try connecting it to a pc and see if you can get access?

That helped with the one of a friend of mine. Via the PC we flashed it back

Ah another SD808 bootloop, you might be able to get it fixed but there is a possibility that device will bootloop again.

This is pretty much the exact same problem that was on LG G4.

I did try connecting it to a pc and it's not showing up.

Ok... then I guess its really a SD808 bootlop like @Levent suggested. Try to google some info. There are ways wich could fix it. Bu I dont know them. I only use Android when I have to (to help others)
