PC Is Acting Weird

Go to solution Solved by APasz,

Just need to reset it in the BIOS/Clear CMOS.

So, I got a new PC the other day and everything seemed fine and all. But I installed Overwatch today but the game just kept crashing after 20 mins or so. I thought it was problem with the game. Then I tried out CSGO, R6S and Paladins and those games kept crashing as well. I haven't overclocked my CPU at all and I don't have a dedicated GPU right now. The only thing I did was I changed The frequency of my RAM to 3000MHz (they are rated at 3200MHz) but it'd be weird if this is what's causing issues. So I ran anti-virus scans, it was fine. Did CPU stress tests and the max temps were high 60s. I checked with CrystalDiskInfo if any of my drives were faulty but it showed they were fine. Now it's gotten to a point where even task manager crashes after I open it. I'm wondering if a fresh installation of windows 10 could fix the issues or if it's a hardware related problem.

PC Specs:

CPU: i7 9700k @3.6Ghz

MOBO: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master M120L

Ram: Team T-Force Dark 16GB (8x2) 3200MHz

SSD: Corsair Force MP510 240GB

HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM

PSU: Cooler Master MWE 750W 80+ Gold

Some help would be extremely appreciated.

From 3200 to 3000, or from stock to 3000? If it's the latter, you don't just arbitrarily change your memory frequency without also changing voltage and timings. That's why XMP exists.

It is the latter and I enabled XMP before changing the frequency albeit, it was a pre-made proifle with XMP enabled. I really don't know much about these thing (I probably shouldn't have done it) so some help would be amazing.
