Black Friday, Worth it?

I am looking to buy a new motherboard and CPU soon and i am not trying to break the bank but i know that Black Friday is coming fairly soon and I am curious if items like Motherboards and CPU's go on enough of a discount to really make it worth it to wait. This is my first year with a gaming PC and so I do not have that much experience in what the sales may be.

well it's always different each year, but there could be a sale depending on what you want to get, it's like a month away so i'd just wait if i were you

I find the best items are monitors and TVs on Black Friday. They have the highest markup so they can give the better discounts.

 

With motherboards, GPUs and CPUs you have to follow the market closely and buy without hesitation as soon as your preferred price is reached. 

I say without hesitation because sales can last for only minutes.

These sales are designed to get rid of old stock. I reckon the 2nd gen ryzen stuff will be dirt cheap; arguably it already is

I do my research so I only go for models with model # I know. 

 

The TVs I am going for this year are Samsung QN49Q70RAFXZA. So far their sales price have been $899. I want to pay $799. If the TV does not reach $799 I will get one for the regular sales price.

The other is the QN65Q90RAFXZA. It is on sale now for $2600. I want to pay $2300.  This is to replace my old 1080i TV in the living room. I am still up in the air about getting this because no one in my family watches tv in the living room any more. I may just use the money to get a big monitor for myself.
