Posted October 10, 2019 Hi Guys! Today i received my Noctua NH-D15 chromax and immediately i installed it in my case! I decided to upgrade my CORSAIR H100i v2, i found it to noisy and i figured that Noctua was the way to go. Unfortunately (just like you guys) the color scheme was not my taste and doesnt fit my build. However, with this new version i was sold immediately. I ordered it and installed it right away! I was a little worried that it wouldnt fit my case since i have "small" case (NZXT s340 elite) But after reading some other people's experiences i decided to go for it anyway. It fits with one fan installed (the other one would go over my ram and that doesnt fit) My full black build looks badass with this big cooler in it! Thermals: Corsair: Idle: 40 Celcius Load: 90 Celcius Noctua: Idle: 37 Celcius Load: 78 Celcius I diddnt do an extensive test but i think you get the idea. Im very happy with the results! and it looks badass too!
Posted October 10, 2019 Oh yeah, the NH-D15/15S does hella well in the S340 Elite. I used to run an NH-D15S on my 5Ghz 8600K with SLI 1080s in an S340 Elite. Had like a mm of clearance between the cooler and case, but temps were all great, the S340 Elite doesn't have as terrible airflow as people seem to think. Ended up giving the case away in a rig to a friend, really wish I'd kept it now. They're extremely well made and gorgeous cases, the new H series just isn't as nice IMO.
