SSD and hdd issue help!

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

So you only have the ssd plugged in now, right?

Have you checked the boot order and have the ssd selected as the first option or try reverting to default motherboard settings?

I had an ssd in my pc ant it would boot and worked fine. Then i tried putting a hdd in because it had my og windows and i thought i could just trasfer it on to the ssd. So i disconnected the ssd and connected the hdd. The hdd not working but was making a spinning noise. So i quit on the hdd and put the ssd back in and it only would pop up to the bios.

Hard Drives are very delicate, shaking a hard drive can damage it.

Why don't you connect both drives at the same time?

If it still happening then i would recommend going to a data recovery center with your drive.

I dont really care about the hdd. I just want the ssd to boot windows again. I had inactivated windows on  the ssd. I never put them on at the same time.
