Hi, so for the past couple of weeks i have been getting the BSOD almost daily and i did all the test i could do. Complete defender scan, sfc and others. The sfc scan showed error in the end. There were alot of files missing and corrupted. i Tried to get a Different windows 10 iso but it wont install. some "partition cannot be upgraded". i tried the windows creation tool but the same error occurred. I thought or doing the manual reset of windows but i don't know if it'll fix the missing/corrupted files of sfc. Can someone help me in this? Where can i find an original windows 10 pro iso and how to i get in installed with full wipe and fresh files.

For some reason, I though there was a repair command you could use as well. If its not fixing it while scanning, and it wont let you do anything else, if might be a bad drive.

Have you tried making a bootable USB drive with windows on it?

Also, the creation tool can make all Windows 10 installs.

If the SFC finds faults but cannot fix them, try running the following in the command prompt with admin privileges (you will need an internet connection)

 DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

This should fix problems that SFC cannot fix, after running DISM, if you rerun SFC it should come back without errors.

If this does not fix your problem, use the windows 10 media creator tool to create a new windows 10 install media and run this from within windows to perform an in place upgrade.

If the in place upgrade fails or you still have blue screening then you probably have hardware problems

Thats the thing about Windows 10. You can easily download the media creation tool from Microsoft. OR you boot up to Windows, before loging in restart the computer and hold shift while its restarting. That hopefully will get you to the built in recovery manager in Windows 10. From there you can perform a reset of Window. Either with keeping your files OR doing a complete reset that will delete everything.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
