Nope. My 2200G on default bios settings (everything auto) got 1.38-1.4volts under load. Of course I undervolted it, with some mild fixed-clock overclocking (3.8Ghz& -0.1 volt offset voltage). 

 

Temps will be much better. I'd suggest you try set 0.05 negative offset first. Then, you can be more agressive with undervolting, if it's stable.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

I dont really get the idea of offset voltage. I just set my cpu frequency at 3.8ghz and see at what voltage it's stable(3.5V).

Is the voltage offset really important?
