Color Accurate 144Hz for cheap?

Hi!

I'm in the process of building a PC. I do lots of photo/video work so for selecting a monitor, i went with the LG 24MP88HV-S as it was the cheapest color accurate monitor (99% sRGB) i could find (in India / UAE)

Yesterday, i got an amazing deal on a used PNY GTX 1080Ti. Since the card is more than capable of outputting 120+ fps for most games, i considered getting a 144hz monitor. But, all the options i checked are either too expensive or have inaccurate color rendition.

So, any suggestions? I'd prefer a screen size of 24" to 27". There must be a lot of good options in the US but in India and UAE there's much less selection and lots of overpricing.

Sites I'd Prefer: amazon.in | amazon.ae | mdcomputers.in | https://uae.microless.com

Until recently newegg offered free shipping to UAE but they've stopped doing that now so that's not an option.

Thanks.

If you want cheap stuff, it's going to be either this or that, not both. Or go for used stuff.

I'd say go for color accurate 1080p or 1440p, don't go far into gaming with new stuff, it's going to be dead end.

P. S. Don't forget about deltaE's, they need to be lower than 4 (2 in ideal situation).

If you do a lot of photo/video work and accurate colors are important then i would find a monitor that is over 100% srgb, something like 120-125% sRGB and like 95-100% in adobe/dcip3.

That is if you do stuff for TV and prints. For web sRGB is enough most of the time (unless you plan for HDR).

Thats right but he didnt say what kind of color work he do. Probably web if he cares about 100% sRGB, but still nothing wrong to remind that there are better option if he dont do web design.

Yeah sRGB is definitely enough.

Absolutely. But I'm no professional, I'm a student who also does photography/videography on the side so the 99% sRGB coverage is more than enough.
