Good Value 3700x cooler?!?!

SkyguyXD

Hello all.

I've recently purchased a Ryzen 3700x for my pc build.

I'm looking to buy a good aftermarket cpu cooler without breaking the bank as I don't like the stock cooler it came with.

I'm trying to keep it under $50

The current cpu cooler I'm considering is the DeepCool Gammaxx GT

Anyone know if this is a good cooler or any other coolers to consider??? RGB Asus Aura sync preferred.

Many thanks!

It's alright. Basically a Hyper 212 LED Turbo ripoff with RGB LEDs instead of single colour.

For sub $50, you won't really be able to get something much better than the stock cooler. The prism is pretty good.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

For 50$ there is not much available for the budget. But if you can extend that budget a bit, you can go for a hyper 212 black edition. Its very nice and performs quite nice as well. Don't know though for an OC 3700x but I think it take it.

What don't you like about the stock cooler?

What case and ram are you using?

Where are you shopping / located?

They don't actually have that much in common. The Gammaxx GT was released later but not by much -- about 7 months later.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

I should’ve mentioned this in the original post but I don’t plan on overclocking it. Just looking for something that looks good and keeps the temp lower than the stock cooler at stock speeds
