Depends on the sort of pins you are bridging, how much power is going over that line.

A cable from a broken PSU might just work.

 

To be quite honest though, if you don't know what type of wire you need.. You probably don't know how much power goes over the connection.. So do you actually think you know you should be bridging multiple connections to make it work?

Bridging certain connectors should really only be done if you know what you're doing. What if you need to bridge it with a resistor between??? This seems like an exceedingly terrible plan.
