Static Sound from my desktop speakers.

raju1010

So i bought a 2.1 amplifier for my desktop PC and connected two speakers and a sub woofer. When i listening to music or playing videos it sound's good but strangely when i open a web page and scroll through the page i hear a hiss/static noise from the speakers and it is very intense when i play games. I though it has to do with the interface from the graphic card and the audio cable from pc to amplifier so i wire the cable in different direction that won't interfere with the graphic card but the static noise still coming. Please help me.

When was it working without static noise ?  It can be the AMP situation, unless it is new.  Then if it is doing it it is interfering with something and what not.

no, previously i had lenovo desktop speakers with 1W output power each. I recently bought a 200W amplifier and speakers and connected to the I/O port on the motherboard. What is strange to me is when i scroll through a web page using my mouse, i hear this sound very clearly and when i play a game or on the loading page it is very loud

It is a new amplifier, even my old desktop speakers used to make that noise but not like this intense. And this static noise is very loud when i'm playing a game and that too in the loading screen.

Yeah sounds like coil whine coming through your on board audio. Try an external DAC, something as cheap as this will do the job https://www.amazon.com/FiiO-D03K-Digital-Analog-Converter/dp/B009346RSS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3D4D25ZCU4RYD&keywords=fiio+taishan&qid=1569466343&s=gateway&sprefix=fiio+t%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-1
