Hello. I need help to decide which Ryzen 7 cpu to go with.

Amazon US price rn

Ryzen 7 2700 - $180

Ryzen 7 2700x - $197

Ryzen 7 3700x - $330

Is there any huge performance difference between 3700x and 2700/2700x in productivity and gaming to justify 3700x over 2700/x for the price? I know R5 3600 > R7 2700/X in gaming but I am planning to do some productivity beside gaming as well.

Should I save money for the 3700x or go with 2700 or 2700x since the price is cheap for 8c/16t?

2700 is stil a very good choice imo.
The 3700x is awesome performance for the money you spend. up to you if the difference in price is worth it for you. Just take a look on youtube, some benchmark videos and stuff maybe you find some that have the programs you use in them.
Me personally would go for the 2700x

2700x.  Very capable, and later You can still sell it with minimal loss, when you would want to upgrade.

I doubt you'll feel the need of changing it though..

For that price, 2700x

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
