Gadolinium cooled cooler

I found this person that showed a metal that could be used to cool a CPU  under ambient and won't draw 500w , any ideas and opinions on that idea ?

The metal seems to have a powerful property of cooling, but the results on a CPU cooler would likely be the same as a chiller. Although, maybe the potential lower volume would be notable?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

you still have the condensation issues but this dosnt seem like something you could do DIY fairly ok. Its an interesting idea for sure

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I am unsure about that , from what i get as long as there is a piece of metal that has magnetic field being changed constantly trough it , it should cool itself. That said if there is a pipe for example and few magnets with different polarities, and liquid going through the Gadolinium and cooling a heatsink that is a water-cooler, that could in theory keep it close and just under sub ambient temperature. Should - excuse me for te english , is not my native language

Perhaps as part of a water loop sure. How much heat load it could take i have no idea.
