Is AOC I2481FXH any good?

bybrown

Hi,

I want to buy a new monitor for especially for graphic design and programming purposes but sometimes I am playing games and watching movies. I was going to buy Acer VG240YBMIIX (150 $) but its price is over my budget. So after that, I found AOC I2481FXH (130 $) and it has really good comments around but couldn't be sure because it is really old, its release date is December, 2015. The AOC one is still worthable in 2019? Or do I need to look something else? My budget is 140 $ max, and I am living in Turkey.

Just get whichever is a 1080p IPS display for movies. Most should be at 90% sRGB or better

otherwise just search for specific reviews.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Movies are not my main concern but I am in a really tight budget so I want the best one in this price. AOC seems a really good choice but its release date confusing me.

It seems fine, the only downside is the lack of a Vesa Mount, the panel itself is good though.
