Minecraft server ram requirements?

Cupar19

So I've seen a lot of conflicting information on the internet telling me I should have anywhere from 2 to 16gb ram but I'm really not sure.

Me and a group of friends are all going to pitch in to rent a minecraft server as none of us can buy a dedicated server that stays on 24/7 and we can afford about £7 a month. There will be at most 10 of us running with about 10-15 plugins. we do intend to have quite a lot of machines and automation such as farms and things running. How much did you think we need?

My minimum is 4GB. My recommended minimum is 8GB, with 16GB recommended for higher playercount and plugins.

Get the one for $8, it comes with 8GB of RAM.

They had a sponsor with LTT at some point- code LTT used to give you 20% off

It's more than enough for what you'd be doing
