The 1660 ti performs better than the 590 and should be a perfect match for something like a 2600

The cheapest dual fan 1660ti on the part picker is $279 right now not counting rebates.

With the 590 at $180 It's going to be worth saving $100 just for a 1080p 60hz display.

But better yet buy a used RX 470/480/570/580 with a 1080p 144hz free-sync display.

This one is $95 + shipping

$125 for an 8GB card, I have no idea if GPU mining made a come back or something, because all of the 8GB cards are missing.

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

ok ty but I think I would like to buy a new one

Ebay has tons of buyer protection, and if the used card has any issues you can get your money back. Unless you want to mess with overclocking the RX 590 it's only like 8% faster than a 570/580 at best, and it's not like GPUs will typically just break. Usually it's either broken out of the box, or it's fine for years.

Is your current monitor only 1080p 60hz?

The Nitro+ has a bit higher clock speeds and a bit faster ram, and is the slightly better of the two cards. I also have a 590 Nitro+ and it can handle just about anything I throw at it since I only have a 1080p 60hz monitor. They're pretty impressive for the price I would say.
