iPhone 7 Plus vs Pixel 3

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide whether to get an iPhone 7 Plus (128gb Product Red) or a Google Pixel 3 (64gb Just Black)

I will be buying from the UK used market probably CeX (google it).

I have £300 ($373) budget

Please keep your bias' out of the conversation as I like both Android and iOS equally

Bias is pretty much the only thing that's going to decide this. They're pretty similar otherwise.

Personally I'd go for the iPhone. More storage, arguably better build quality. Kind of on the big side though, and it's bezels are hideous.

How much are OnePlus phones in the UK?

I looked at Oneplus 6t (in 6gb+128gb config) and they are a really reasonable price. I was put off though as they aren't waterproof

Not the shower. I have a swimming pool and I would overlook no waterproofing if it was good in another place

Funny, I've had phones without waterproofing for decades and it never caused me a problem.

Just be careful and it's not an issue.

TBH I don't know how well waterproofing would work in a pool anyway. Chlorine generally isn't friendly to seals.

Over the iphone and pixel, I'd do the Oneplus 6t.

Depends how much cheaper it is. I mean it's a decent phone, camera's not as good as the Pixel obviously, but Pixel phones are generally plagued with problems.

I'd also consider an S9 Plus depending on the prices they're at. Usually Samsung phones are cheap because they're plentiful.

Mate20 might be worth looking at if you're interested in them as a company. I am not.

Hell even the Note8 should be pretty cheap if you're looking for something bigger.

I have had a look and decided on an iPhone X won on eBay. It was a steal and the only issue with it is the battery health is at 87% and it has some deep scratches on it. Thanks for your help
