So my CPU turns out that its at 1.45v when i was at AI suite.... wow for me that's high. so i tone it down to 1.4v, and my max temp dropped down from 51C to 46C.

But here's the catch, i downvolt my CPU through AI suite, so i gotta go change it everytime i start my pc, its such a Hassle!

So i went to my BIOS, i don't really have that much experience in changing volts but i just set my CPU to negative offset mode of -0.04000 something volts.
save & restart, then black screen. reduced the amount of offset and then BSOD + OC failed screen. funny i can undevolt it more lower through AI suite but not BIOS.

  Help pls? :(

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

I would try lowering the voltage even less than you are trying in the BIOS

[AMD Athlon 64 Mobile 4000+ Socket 754 | Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro nForce3 | OCZ 2GB DDR PC3200 | Sapphire HD 3850 512MB AGP | 850 Evo | Seasonic 430W | Win XP/10]

it's already at the max negative offset... can not lower it much more.

Can you lower it by .02v in the BIOS?

yes but, it won't be 1.4v which AI suite can :(

In the BIOS go to AI Tweaker (in advanced mode).

Scroll down and find Offset Voltage, change it to manual.

Set the CPU Voltage to 1.35 (I can set my 8320 to 1.2v for stock clocks) and CPU/NB to 1.2V.

setting it to manual will make some of the CPU features Disappear :(
