rx 5700 xt game issues

hey guys. so quick run down on build.

ryzen 7 3700x with coolermaster AIO

16gb trident gskill ram 3200mhz

ASRock x570 phamtom gaming 4 mobo

750w gold PSU

and obviously blower style rx 5700 xt by powercolor.

now plays apex fine, gta 5 is really smooth, even plays the older games in my steam library such as l4d2 and all them fine, csgo plays really well too.

my problem is i cant play gears 5, war thunder and even BO 4 due to whatever reason.

i either get stuck on a black screen with nothing responding, still have audio but alt+tab doesnt work, ctrl alt del even shift esc does nothing, have to reset the PC to get visuals back.

or i get the driver hung message and game goes to poo and have to restart anyway.

currently using 19.9.1 software version, rolling back to previous versions of the driver also didnt help for any of these games.

is there something else that would be conflicting with said games or is it just a compatibility issue with the drivers not yet being up to par for gears etc.

picture of PC because new desk feels and why not

All 18.8 and 19.9.1 drivers are incredibly unstable, i recommend trying 19.7.5 if you haven't already.

8700K @ 5.2ghz 1.29V, 4x8 Rev.E @ 4040 13-20-20-39 1.7V.

also dont have MSI after burner installed as never needed to use it but heard that also can cause conflict

Don't use driver utilities like driver easym they tend to break stuff and cause massive issues

i check what drivers are out dated with it and then search them manually from the respected websites.

Do you have Enhanced Sync on for any of those games? It has been known to break things. (mine can't even use it on any game anymore)

Reducing the power limit on Global Wattman by about 20% should fix your problems. If you want a more permanent solution, return your 5700XT and grab a 2070 Super. The current crop of AMD drivers are horrible.
