How to run dx 7/8 games in win 10

Want to play some old dx 7/8 games , how can i run them on win 10 with latest gpus , current gpus support dx 9-12 , dx8 game had audio/video out of sync n running too fast problem with win 10 . Is there a fix or will i not get to play them .

Virtualization could work, depending on Needs/games/3D  (Run Virtual Windows 98/XP and run games in that environment) and Run it Fullscreen within Windows 10.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Depends on the game, either virtual machine with XP. Or DOSBox for even older ones. Or get fixed versions from GOG if available.
