Maybe a little help finding a Laptop?

Hey there!

I'm currently a High School Student about to head off to college, and I am having quite a hard time finding a nice laptop that is quite budget friendly ($800- MAX $1200) with the specs I would prefer. These specs are very flexible (due to price point) and I am just looking to see what other people suggest. Here we go!

-15.6" display

-Possibly Slim, definitely not chunky or anything

-Able to handle light/medium gaming (GTA, Rainbow Six, etc..) (Maybe even VR for future)

-I would prefer a laptop with a bezel-less screen

-Backlit Keyboard

-1TB HDD, 128-250gb SSD

-8-16gb ram

-preferrably 6 core processor (6C/12T)

-GPU can be really flexible.

Just look for something with at least an i5 8400h or 9400h and a 1050ti, all of them are likely to have bad battery life and cooling issues.

Wouldn't really go above that though in terms of the best value machines.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Taking a good look at this one here

Even though the battery life is trash, it still looks like a good bang for my buck

Check Amazon I think I saw it cheaper there.
