IM REQUESTING IMMEDIATE HELP!

so I thought I'd plug a spare 1070 into my rig just to test it out, after I put my normal GPU back which was working just fine before. Now I just see the bios screen for 1 second and then straight to a permanent black screen and nothing happens

Unplug power cord, wait a few minutes and try again.

Reseat your video card, it's not plugged in properly.

Gotta ask...did you plug the power cables back into the video card?

Re-seat the card, check all power cables, and throw your normal GPU into another system to determine if your GPU is the problem.
