spacer.pngspacer.pngHello!
I have GTX 1080 and decided to move from 1080p 60hz TN monitor to 1440p 144hz IPS.
I was aware of the "defects" that these panels could have so I tested the monitor for BLB. I'm new to the monitor niche so that's why I'm asking you. I've seen BLB on other monitors but here I think it's really bad or I'm just making things up. From the very start when I installed it something on the left bottom side of the screen is annoying my left eye (before I tested it for BLB).

Is it serious and what affect has actually the BLB?

Is this a reason to return the Display?

Also, while this topic is still opened... if I return this monitor, wouldn't be better for gtx 1080 to get a 1080p 144hz monitor TN, cause I also tested some heavy titles on this "2k" resolution and the fps loss from 1080p is huge.

Here's screenshot of the BLB test (the site is not allowing me to upload here, idk why) - https://prnt.sc/p2bguz

BLB matters only, if you get bothered by it. So it's up to you to decide whether you want to return it or not.

Whether you're happy with the performance or not is also up to you. I use a GTX 1080 in combination with a 3440x1440 60Hz displays and I'm happy. It really depends on what games you're playing and which settings you're using.

btw. 2560x1440 is not 2K

It looks like your average IPS Glow, if you don't like it buy a VA panel.
