PC randomly switches on or off

Just about to save a word document and the PC switches off. Lose hope and make a cup of tea and it turns back on again in front of my eyes. Even at night, when I come downstairs, it switches on sometimes. I am starting to think it is a dodgy front panel switch. Does anybody else have any other ideas ?

Pull the headers off for the power and/or reset switches, if it keeps doing so, you have your answer.
