So i made a post about my first custom build and got a suggestion i should possibly think into swapping my MSI B450 Tomahawk Max to a X570 board so i can future proof my build and also have a better board.

Thats the build i am now planning to go with now because i do kinda want too future proof my build, but the only problem is i am planning on overclocking my CPU and with that motherboard it takes me over what i would like too spend on my PC. I was going to get the CoolerMaster ML240L AIO as my cooler as well but was advised not too, so i should i get a X570 board and wait till i have more cash for the cooler or just get my original choice.

MSI X570-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard

Do not buy the MSI X570-A Pro. Watch Hardware Unboxed's video on the budget X570-boards and you'll see why:

So you think just stick with the Tomahawk?

I don't know, I haven't looked into that mobo's performance or cooling. I just commented that you should stay far away from the MSI X570-board.

Also what AIO would you recommend.

No idea, I don't use AIO's.

I’d recommend a better psu, better board and a better/cheaper ssd.

For god's sake don't get that motherboard, if you want a b450 get a tomahawk max and if you want x570 get the Asus prime. I'd personally get an x470 though, you get the features from an x board (obviously not pcie gen 4 though) and avoid the point of failure that is the chipset fan

Many X470 boards aren’ that good tho.

this is an upgrade for PCIe 4.0, other than that it's not significantly better by any means. I'd rather spend that money elsewhere, or spend more for a board truly better like the Asus TUF or Gigabyte Elite.

thats the exact same board. its vastly better than most other X570 boards below 200$ VRM wise, featurewise its like any other low end x570 board.

I also was looking at this motherboard, also do you recommend any AIO coolers cause i want too overclock but i was told Cooler Master ML240L was a bad choice.

you dont get anything from overclocking the 3700x unless you are into some more advanced steps than multiplier overclocking.

also you are better off with a good aircooler.
