Ideas for a RGB Glass Window Case

Michael93

Hi Guys!

I have a build right now that I find a bit boring. I want to switch case, add some RGB and put it on my desk.

My build:

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M (Acrylic side window)

MB : ASUS ROG Z370-H Gaming
CPU : Intel i5-8600k
CPU Cooler: Noctua nh-d15

RAM : 16 GB Corsair Vengence Pro(/Non-RGB)
GPU : MSI RTX 2080 Gaming Trio
M.2 SSD : Samsung Evo 970 Pro 512GB
PSU : CoolerMaster 850watt Gold

Monitor: Asus Rog PQ279Q
Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB
Mouse: Steelseries Rival 300
Headset: Corsair Void Pro

All my casefans are noctua pwm, but I am willing to switch some of them for RGB fans.
I plan on using the Corsair Commander Pro to control both RGB and Fan Speed. Also since I dont have a RGB header on my mb.

Do you have any ideas to what case could do the trick?

Thank you so much! :)

Lian Li O11-Dynamic is my go-to recommendation. I found building in it nice, and in my opinion it is the most pleasing case to look at.

CPU: i7-8700k MOBO: MSI MAG Tomahawk Z390 RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB 3200MHz GPU: 1080ti

Phanteks makes that case with a TG side panel. You can probably have them send you a TG conversion kit (unless they really changed the mounting holes between the versions)

If possible I'd keep the case (it's a very good case), make the panel switch and add LED lights. If you want the fans to glow but keep the legendary performance of the Notua's, you can use Phantek's HALO frames too.

Thx for the advice and the case is so nice, but my cooler is just 1 cm too high for it to fit.  :)

Thx for the suggestion, but they have changed the mounting holes just a bit, but enough to make it impossible. :(

Well, unless you want to get the Updated version of the Pro M, here's a few suggestions that would be a good side grade:

Coolermaster Mastercase H500, H500P Mesh

Coolermaster Masterbox MB511 RGB

Fractal Design Meshify S2

Note, people will probably try to sell you on the Meshify C, not realizing your GPU is too long for the case, especially if you want to keep all front fan locations filled.
