Headphones not detected

Hi I just built my pc and I’m trying to get everything set up, but then I plug my my headphones into the front panel headphone jack they’re not even detected in my pc, I’ve tried reinstalling drivers and updating drivers but nothing is working for me

1. Make sure the headset is connected to the motherboard headphone connectors.
2. Make sure its in the right port 
- If it works after these steps then your front panel connectors are not plugged in correctly

Right click sound icon in task bar 

Sound settings> In that window, under related settings Sound control panel

 

make sure your playback devices is 1. enabled and 2. set as default

I rewired the front panel and I still get nothing

Everything on my front panel is working on except the headphone and mic jack

Then you plugged your cables incorrectly.

Follow this and then it should work its those tiny cables
