I need a GPU and have $3-ish to spend. I mostly played CS:GO and stream it. Obviously, I want to get around 300 fps in CS while streaming it. I do play GTA V and want to be able to played other games at 60+ fps at 1080p at medium settings. Any recommendations? I have not been in the market for a bit. Is there a streamer benefit to the Nvidia or AMD side in terms of drivers/software these days?

My CPU is an i5 8600k at 3.8 ghz and my current GPU is an R9 380x btw

Use code: SAVE15 for 15% off. Brings it down to $297.

It's a blower but videos on YouTube show that it's pretty quiet when undervolted.

It's got about the same thermals as undervolted when you replace the thermal pads with good thermal paste and use stock settings. It also gains a bit of overclocking headroom. (I can push mine to 2025MHz without any thermal throttling occurring)

what good is 300 fps going to do without a monitor that will display 300 fps? or are you planning to capture the video to slow down later?

as for $300 it can get you a 1660ti ($~270-290) which should do everything you are asking.

a RX 5700 would do it even better but they start at $330ish if you can stretch the budget an extra $30 its worth it.
