I guess it's too late now... might as well do office studio work and invest in studio gear instead of mining...

Thanks for your answers ❤️

Might be worth taking your talents to fiverr if that's the case.

hey everyone

I was wondering about buying some gear to start mining some cryptocurrency but then I started to wonder...

which one to mine?

what gear to use?

is it still profitable?

I've read some articles and watch some stuff on the matter but all seems a bit one sided or sponsored.

can any of you guys help me decide?

sincerely

Your barley going to make any money at this point mining. You would need specialized equipment at this point to be profitable. The markets super unstable shown by the drop we had last winter. I don't think its worth getting into at this point, the mining craze is over.

Basically, unless power AND hardware is free it really isnt worth it, and tbh if the hardware is free it may just make sense to sell the hardware and put the money into some form of high interest investment account, like a government issued bond.

Most other cryptocurrinces are affected by bitcoin. Many others started mining other kinds when mining bitcoin became to difficult for even multi gpu setups but those currencies have lost steam too.
