Hi, I recently bought pc parts from Newegg to build up a new pc for playing 1440p on my new monitor. Here are the parts

Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B450f-gaming

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC 8G

PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Series SSR-650PX 650W 80+ Platinum

RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2D300C16

Hard Drive: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB

                    HDD Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM010 1TB 7200 RPM

The first time I installed Windows 10, it keeps randomly freezing as I am doing my updates. Once I finally get to Windows 10 build 1809 (so I can install the RTX 2070 driver) I launch a game and It will randomly freeze. At first I bought GSkills Ripjaws V Series 32GB DDR4 3200 and thought this could be the problem. I went to a repair store and the guy updated the BIOS and changed the memory sticks saying they were incompatible. Returned home with my pc, reinstalled Windows 10 and got the problem again.. I tried installing it on a different Hard drive, same thing. I temporarly connect a DVDR to install my old OEM version of Windows 10, I heard it might cause some issues but I am not sure since, even with the freezes, I still am able to get the OS fully updated. On the first Windows update I got a Watch Dog_Time Out clock error message.

Last night I played WoW classic while talking to a friend through Facebook Messenger and my screen suddenly froze but I was still able to talk to my friend. Just a few minutes before that, it felt like my messenger closed and I had difficulty to ALT TAB out of the game to reboot the conversation.

I have the big feeling it is AMD related problems, never really had a good experience with them, except for like one build. I was hoping overtime they had better and more stable products but seems that I was very wrong. Now I just wished I forked the 100-200$ dollars more for good and stable INTEL instead of this garbage... Mistake learned now that I am spending even more than that trying to get this nightmare fixed loll

Any advices would be very much appreciated thank you

I'm sorry to have to say but the Intel platforms can have just as many problems as AMD. No one manufacturer is immune to flaws.

I would tell you to pull your GPU and plug into your motherboard but your CPU doesn't support an iGPU so that's not an option.

If it's possibly a power issue you can try a different PSU if you have one around.

Of the BSOD messages you've received do you have the error codes? You mentioned Watch Dog_Time Out. Any others?
