Cheapest solid Nvme drive?

so a friend of mine is about to upgrade.

 

i have been bugging him about it for years now. hes running the following:

 

AMD FX 8120

8 gb ram

some gigabyte am3+ board we got used for cheap because his original one died. but the replacement is barely enough to keep him running. its sata2 still for fucks sake. anyway...

asus gtx 970 turbo

some mechanicals

some 750 watt psu i believe 

and all in a bitfenix neos

 

we built it originally with a gtx 560  back when the FX 8120 came out so forgive if i cant remeber all the parts.

 

soo...now the requirements for borderlands 3 came out and i could finally convince him to upgrade.

i was thinking 

AMD R5 3600

corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 3600 mhz cl18 

msi b450m mortar max

 

but that about does it for his budget so i thought id be nice and buy him his first ssd ever. i mean hes still running mechanical hdds

 

so i was thinking corsair mp510 in the 240gb variety but i thought id ask around first what you guys think

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"

sorry i just never heard of them around here. and i just checked. so that might be becasue they are not really avaible anywhere else here but amazon. hhmm ill look into it.

For gaming the difference is negilable and only shows while operationg on large files

 

I got myself a Crucial MX500 recently and am very happy with it
