80° Safe GPU Temp?

My GTX 1070 reached 70-80 degrees Celsius during the superposition VR benchmark... Is that ok? How can I keep my GPU cooler?

I did a benchmark before this where the temp got to 80 degrees but I forgot to take a screenshot.

yes it's perfectly fine.

mine also hovers around 72/75 sometimes 77c. so it's fine. don't look at new 2070 supers those have better cooling sollutions than our 1070 has. which yours with a blower style cooler is doing mighty fine :)
