My FPS for games is inconsistent even for games like CS GO and APEX

The system that im using right now is Ryzen 3 1300X,DDR 8GB 2400,1TB HDD,GTX1660,MOBO PRIME A320 ASUS.

I got frames around 70-60 for APEX.

120 FPS for CSGO

DOTA 2 around 90-100 FPS

all of these games in 1080p i got inconsistent FPS (low or high the same thing would happen)

Sometimes can even drop to 30fps!

Is it the CPU bottleneck my GPU performance cause i just got the GPU last month and thought that the FPS drop would be fix.

or is it my HDD?

really need help.

make sure u update all drivers, maybe perform a memtest, could be faulty memory, and ryzen loves fast memory, so if u can return the ram for a refund, get 3200 or 3000 if u can

I ran a Ryzen 5 1600 with DDR4-2133 memory for about a year, never had any issues with it(in the same games, too).

could be, ran 1200 with 2666mhz memory, all im saying is that it could be a faulty ram stick, and ryzen loves higher mhz ram, has nothing to do with being faulty or not :D

I would see about overclocking the memory to about 2966, which iirc is achievable with most stuff. Another option, assuming you are comfortable with it and have sufficient cooling for your CPU, try pushing it towards 4Ghz, in my experience that helped my 1200 a fair bit (more or less the exact same CPU just different clocks)

Bethesda PC:   R7 3700X  -  Asrock B550 Extreme 4  -  Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 16GB@3.6GHz -  Zotac AMP Extreme 1080TI -  Samsung 860 Evo 256GB  -  WD Blue 2TB SSD -  500DX  -  Stock cooling lul  -  Rm650x

CrumpleBox V3:  Xeon X5680  -  Asus X58 Sabertooth  -  DDr3 16GB@1.33Ghz  -  Gigabyte 1660s -  TT smart RGB 700W  -

Cooler Master Storm Trooper  -  120GB Samsung 850 Pro   -  LTT Edition Chromax NH-D15 ?

CrumpleBox 3 ROTF: I5-6400  -  MSI B150m Mortar  -  16GB 2133Mhz Vengeance Pro RGB  -  Strix 1070Ti - GTX 1070 FE  -  Adata 128GB SSD  -  Fractal Design Define C  -  Gammaxx 400V2  -  Cooler Master silent pro gold 1000W

Overclocking will not help, because your motherboard does not support it (A320 chipset). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Your CPU might bottleneck your GPU, so I would recommend upgrading it to at least a Ryzen 5 if you can.
