I need help with deciding whether to throw my gt. 780s out

I recently bought a gtx 780 lightning and a gtx 780ti founders edition. Neither of which will post no matter what I have tried, i have an i7 4770k an Asus sabertooth z78 and 16gb of ram and my build will post with the igpu on the i7 but not with the graphics cards I just want to know whether I should just chuck them

Test them in a friend's PC first.

Probably, yeah. If they do work in a friend's PC but not yours, it's possibly some sort of an incompatibility-issue and you could sell them off to someone.
