How do you adjust your DPI to your new resolution?

Hello, I'm currently planning to upgrade my ultrawide resolution 2560x1080 34 inch to a 3440x1440 100hz 34 (or 35 I forgot) inches. Currently my DPI is 800 and I've been using it for years. If I upgrade my resolution, how would I adjust my DPI to the new resolution? Is there a proper way?

Just experiment by slowly increasing the DPI and see what feels right for you.

Mathematically, around 1070 DPI should be good for you.

Im assuming ur referring to ur mouse.

Generally speaking u can just 'feel' it out. but if u want to get mathematical i'd say just go with 800 x 1.35 = 1080. Maybe try 1000.

Personaly i find 900-1100 ok for 3840 x 2160. At 1920x1080 i use 600.
