Meshify S2 Fan Layout

Hello all,

I am currently thinking about getting the Meshify S2 and I have a question about air flow. I am planning on ditching the fans which come with the case and swapping them out for three Noctua NF-A14 140mms at the front and one of the same at the rear. Should I add another exhaust at the top-rear to help out my rear fan or would that not be needed?

Thanks!

if you're planning to use a blower style gpu then it won't make a difference

but if youre planning to use a custom card that spits hot air into the case then you definitely need one

You won't need a top exhaust, even with a non-blower GPU.

I have a Define S with x3 NF-S12As in front and one NF-A14 as rear exhaust.  GTX 1080 with aftermarket cooler dumping hot air into case.  Zero temp issues.

Frankly, you'll probably be just fine with one 140 mm intake and one 140 mm exhaust (provided you don't have other restrictive components at the front of your case like drive cages - then x2 140 mm would be better).  I ran x2 120 mm intake and x1 120 mm exhaust for a while and had no temp issues.  I only swapped to my current set-up above so I could run everything slower for less noise.

What you have in mind seems great already but I'd recommend seeing how the stock fans perform before deciding on whether or not to replace them. The included Dynamic X2 GP-14's are pretty good already.
