Gpu help

Hello all! I was working on planning my first budget build and i relized it cost a little too much. I think the cause is gpu. It there a cheeper almost as good card? I already have the case ssd and cpu.

You can get about the same performance out of an RX 580 with the "compute/gaming" setting in the Radeon Settings set to "compute". (raises performance that much, and no one but AMD knows why) Save you some cash probably too.

unless there are fitment issues then the vega 56 dunks the 1660 ti by far, it'd be a monster build for 750, if you were to cut it down to 600... if you want my honest opinion, i'd rather not do the build, the difference that you get between a 570/580 for the cost increase is very efficient.

if you do wanna save money then there should be plenty of zen 1/+ parts with a rx 580 used, you can probably cut the cost in half.

 

you could probably save 10bucks on both the ssd and the psu if u can fish for a sale, those prices aren't the best.

I would love to use that gpu a lot but my budget doesnt allow it.. I just want to drop the price to like 200 for a gpu.

the vega 56 really is the best deal you can get in that range, if you do have to drop to 230 then it's a 1660 or rx 590
