HI, I've done a quite a lot of research over the past few weeks and put together what I think is a good build for the price. i just wanted a sanity check to make sure everything looks good/if I should exchange some hardware. I know about the issue with bios on 3rd gen ryzen with these motherboards, and I'm planning on requesting a loaner chip from amd to flash a new bios. I went with a x470 board for the sli support for the future, and having another m.2 slot is important so I can install a second nvme drive in the future. I'm planning on using it for audio work in a home studio and gaming at 1080p ultrawide. I live in the us.

Everything looks good except for the PSU. Its usually a good idea to pay more for high end PSU even if you're building a mid-range rig.

Like this for example. Its much higher quality for a little more.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

id honestly recommend a gold rater psu, psu and motherboards are the two things that you shouldn't cheap out on. like https://www.newegg.com/evga-supernova-g3-series-220-g3-0650-y1-650w/p/N82E16817438094?Description=evga gold&cm_re=evga_gold-_-17-438-094-_-Product

also id get a b350 or something like that since you're not getting a 3600X.

looks good though

SLI is nearly dead now, so just get a decent B450 board instead. a vega 56 would be a better option than the 1660ti. the M12ii is ancient, get a corsair CX instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I wouldn't bother with SLI ... it's on its way out.... the newest cards no longer support SLI and I'm not even sure 166o supports SLI

I'd suggest spending 200$ on a gigabyte x570 aorus elite, or scaling down to around 100$ on  a b450 board;

yeah, 2nd the better psu ;;; go for some gold efficiency psu.

unless u really want sli, maybe check out 5700 / 5700 xt reviews

mb in build below supports bios flashback (update bios from usb without cpu installed)

You realy need to buy a good PSU. I cant stress this enough, a good PSU is critical for your Hardware.

Do you think that switching to this PSU is a better option?

EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Also besides that, is there anything else to consider?

If you are willing to spend that much, just get the PSU in my Sig.

The Rest looks fine so far.

For my Taste, i dont like midttowers. I need space in my Rig ;)

The masterwatt is a decent PSU, good enough for a 5700.

i mean... it's not the best psu in the world

but yeah, it's sufficient

It would buzz , though , wouldn,t it? And  voltage regulation on transient peaks are not gonna be so good...

There,s a bitfenix formula gold 550 for $5 more than the masterwatt on newegg... or a higher quality CX450 , cheaper by $15.
