Is it because of those tweets where developers said that instead of buying off G2A you'd be better pirating? Is kinda funny how some tweets changed the opinion of so many people. Every time I read an article about G2A people are getting mad in the comments ''you don't support the developers'', ''you're an asshole for buying stolen keys'', ''you're a thief'' etc etc. I personally bought a lots of keys from G2A and Kinguin and never had a problem. It's also funny how people don't realize that countries in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world have average salaries lower than 400€. How the hell are they supposed to buy a 30-60€ game?

Games are priced per region... so in the regions where prices are much lower, people are using stolen credit cards to bulk buy game keys and then resell them in another region where those games are far more expensive.

So even though you 'think' you are getting a good deal, those criminals ares till making a massive amount of money because gullible people think they're getting a good deal.

Places like G2A do zero to monitor and take action against these criminals, they prifot from it and so it's not in their interest to stop profiting from it.

Developers see a large quantity of sales going through... then as credit card companies cancel sales and recover money... those sales start to disappear... Anything up to 30% according to some developers is lost each month to these sites.

It's not the big companies that are suffering, it's the small indies... those that are putting out decent games with good gameplay, not chock full of zero day DLC and loot boxes that nickel and dime people, or worse... use psychological manipulation to get them addicted to parting with a constant stream of cash.

If you 'MUST' try and get games for 'free' get them from EA, Ubisoft and Bethesda... companies that are really nasty pieces of crap... Support indies and buy their games for a decent price and never use scam sites that rip them off.
