RX 5700 vs RX 5700 XT ref. card?

Don't wanna get custom card because I need blower cooler for my tiny case.

 

from what I heard 5700 XT ref. card is running hot and loud like a jet engine. so should I sacrifice some performance and get 5700 which run a bit cooler? or XT's high temp. is not a problem?

 

P.S. I also hate that red LED on the XT. can I turn it off?

Id say get a custom card still. The blower is just not good even. The case will be fine, the card itself isn't that hot, it just has a shit stock cooler.

You can but you'll have to open up the card and lose Warranty (as you'll have to peal off the warranty sticker) to disconnect the LED header.

If you can comfortably afford the 5700XT that's desirable, you can always undervolt, tweak fan curves and so on just play and mess around with the card to find your sweet spot... while it's always best have extra performance without need than lack it when you do need.

buttt it's really really hot with my current 1070. so hot that I have to open the side panel and rev. up the fan. that's why I need blower fan. (becoz I install inside compact case with bad airflow. only a single 8cm outtake fan. don't wanna get new case because I use it in compact space.)

Dude, how about just grab the custom 5700 XT one which has heatsink orientation paralel to the case, so it will exhaust the heat out to the rear just like the FE one but you will still get lower temps and more quiet?
