SupremeFX vs Realtek

Glinch

Is the SupremeFX S1220A worth the upgrade to the ROG X570 boards over the TUF one?

I run Beyerdynamic cans btw not some usb headset.

On board is onboard they are all very comparable. If you are serious about audio you would just buy a nice external solution rather than spend more money Ona motherboard. If you want to spend more money on a motherboard audio is probably the last thing to look at look at the VRMs, what headed it has, chipset cooling how many data ports make sure it has the features you need for your PC to function. All onboard audio solutions these days are pretty good and basically sound the same.its usually more than enough for people not into audio.

Supremefx is extremely good compered to standard realtek sound, IF you are making music you Will notice insane difference in how much power is lifted off The cpu to The soundcard and it Will able you to export in 96k Hz aswell, i have it on my motherboard and Will never again buy one without supremefx. I dobt know IF there is much difference in soundquality When it comes to simply playing music but in production The supremefx is insane due to The fact its built in.

And anyone producing will be using an Interface with ASIO drivers so if there's no difference when simply playing music it's difficult to recommend this... right??

SupremeFX also uses Realtek gear btw.  They're all variations of the ALC1220 codec, with the ES9023P DAC for ASUS.  The mid to higher end mobo's all have pretty good integrated audio nowadays.  Unless you're gonna do monitoring work, it's more than good enough for every day use.
