I'm planning to make a ryzen build and decided to go for the DOMINATOR PLATINUM 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18 Memory Kit for my RAM. Thing is, it's listed as compatible with only Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series. Normally that would be the end of it and i'd move on to find other ram, but when I added it to pcpartpicker, it showed not compatibility issues with my build. Is this just an error on pcpartpicker's part or am I really in the clear to use this on my build. Answers are greatly appreciated.

i dont have that corsair ram but i have used corsair always on amd without issues, in fact i am using a lpx module and wasnt suposed to be meant for amd but i even overclocked it abit

it should work i think, but cl18 is high, i would go for cl15 if possible, the speed is good to have but you can overclock abit if you want, so if you find a cl16 or fastet at 3200 i would prefer that

simple fact Most DDR4 will work on any DDR4 slot, there is only so many cases where they really won't work.

These cases are generally in the OEM environment tho. When it comes to overclocking you wil want to look to QVL's and out of the box high memory speeds. For every day usage, just pick what you need.

For ryzen i'd recommend high speed low latency, CL15 with 3600mhz would be best, but gonna be costly.

So CL18 with 3600mhz seems about the middle ground right about now.

CL16 @3200 is also a good middle ground, and would avoid officially voiding your ryzen warranty ;)

Gamesystem: X3700, 32GB memory @3200mhz, GTX1080 Hybrid

Unraid system: Epyc 7352, 24/48, 96GB ECC buffered @2666mhz, 2x GT710, GTX1050Ti
