No video

In this new build, i got it to turn on, but im not getting any video on the monitor.

i have tried using the igpu and plugging into the mobo. Still nothing. Any ideas?

Monitor works fine on my other pc

Are u sure the system is even booting ? just cause rpg etc is on does not mean the system is running does your mainboard have a speaker/screen so u can see hear error codes

Neither, is there something cheap i can get to hear the error codes? Im using the gigabyte b450m bs3h

Always usefull haha  u can start now by testing blind taking all ram out except one etc. What Cabel are u using Displayport/Hdmi if yes try using Vga if vga does not work there is 100% no signal

Ryzen 3 2200g which was working in the other system, and oloy 16gb ddr4 2666

So only the board is new could it be possible that the board needs a bios update for the ryzen 2200g ?

I did put in a usb with the newest bios and nothing happened.

Not getting any beeps at all

can you take pictures of what you see there, perhaps you forgto to connect something

i see almost nothing there lol, unplug that speaker, is useless now

 

how is the psu, cpu power connectors

 

remove and reseat that ram, did you connected the cpu fan?

 

unplug all the front panel connectors, only keep the power button one, be sure to connect it properly

when i use the screw driver, i am able to turn it back off

In summary, i found out thay the power button ive been pressing is the reset button. I weirdly found the actual power button on the case. So the only issue now it the actual video output

are you connecting the pc to a monitor using hdmi?

 

you never said if you reseated the ram or if all connectors are on the right place, nor took a picture of any connector to know if you forgot something

I just reseated the ram and i am getting video now! Thanks a lot
