So basically i will end up with a 2200g in my system along with a 980 TI, and all i'm really asking is on a scale of 1-10 how bad will it bottleneck ???

Note: I'm getting the 980 TI cheap and i will upgrade to the 3600x in the near future.

It'll bottleneck quite a lot.

Can you afford a 1600, 1500x or 2400g?

a ryzen 2200g will not bottleneck that 980ti alot at 1440p

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/19080340 110p in singlecore 404p quad is fine for alot of games (not my benchmark)

nope im limited  to the 2200g or the 3200g which is a waste of £35 because you can overclock the 2200g to match the same speeds.

mainly budget, i have about £90 to get the cpu and cooler, and since the 2200g comes with a wraith stealth cooler* then i'm practically killing 2 birds with one purchase.

Why should he get a better one if its just for a limited time and he wants to upgrade later anyway wtf bro ?

Because it's not a huge difference in price? It's 15 pounds more for a much better cpu

It comes with a cooler, and so does the 1600.

The 1600 is about 100 pounds and includes a cooler. It's a massive upgrade from the 2200g.

Ryzen 1600 is 107 uk pounds on Amazon UK : https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-Ryzen-1600-Desktop-CPU/dp/B06XNRQHG4/

Ryzen 2200g is same 14nm Zen core as Ryzen 1600 and its family

All the others in the 2xxx except 2200g and 2400g are 12nm Zen+ processors.

So if the mb supports 2200g, it will support 1600 just as well. Borrow 10 pounds from a friend and go with 1600 or get 1200 (see below) and then upgrade to a 3rd gen cpu later.

THE 2200g will limit the pci-e bus to pci-e x8 because 8 lanes will be permanently attached to the integrated graphics. technically the video card's performance will be limited by running on only pci-e x8 but it's under 1% of performance loss, practically doesn't matter ... the card won't manage to saturate the pci-e slot bandwidth because of the 4 cores of cpu not keeping up with preparing 144 frames a second...

Some games (and the video card drivers) will be somewhat limited by just 4 cores.

If you want to save money you may just as well pay only 53 uk pounds for ryzen 3 1200 and overclock it a bit (as well as the stealth cooler will allow it) and you get same perf. as ryzen 2200g without integrated graphics : https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-Processor-Wraith-Stealth-Cooler/dp/B0741DN383/

When you have more dinero, you can get a 3600 or 3900 and sell that 1200 for 30-40 pounds or whatever.

Well the main reason for me originally choosing the 2200g is because i run a small YT channel which on my current PC is not handling, well anything that well and for the 19 days i will be without a GPU the 2200g will give me enough power from the integrated to play the nice and light game, minecraft which is the game that is doing the best on my channel. The other options you listed do not come with the 8 Vega cores the 2200g comes with and that's why i'm choosing it, but thanks for your contributions !!!

Jesus man... a video card can be as cheap as 5-10 uk pounds.

You can live with a shit video card for a few weeks, a cpu is more costly to replace

Here's some suggestions

8 uk pounds : amd hd 5450 : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMD-Radeon-HD5450-512MB-DDR3-PCIe-x16-LP-DVI-Display-Port-Card-FRU-896151/333247209880

7.5 gbp : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMD-Radeon-HD5450-512MB-DDR3-PCIe-x16-LP-FRU-896151-DVI-Display-Port-Card/113619544689?epid=28028892750&hash=item1a7440aa71:g:IZwAAOSwxndcWrC-

8.2 gbp in retail box : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIS-Radeon-HD-5450-PCIe-1x/264421098052?hash=item3d90b9c244:g:KxUAAOSwFTVdSGSu

6 uk pounds nVidia GT 210 : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Asus-Geforce-GT-210-1GB-DVI-HDMI/283496330703?hash=item4201b2b5cf:g:5eEAAOSwpmhbp4tb

all uk sellers

look for hd 5450 , hd 5550, hd 6350, hd 6450 , gt 210 and cards around gt 210's time ...

loads of  OEM video cards that were shipped with workstations or oem pcs and pulled out when pcs were recycled

Remember that the vega 8 cores are quite fast in the 2200g, like better that a gt 710 for a long while, closer to a 950

Here's another example i wanted to add : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ASUSTEK-NVIDIA-GEFORCE-210-GT218-512-MB-RAM-PCI-EX16-HDMI-DVI-VGA/192999884250

Here's an auction for a RX 470 4 GB that starts at 60 uk pounds and expires in ~1h : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMD-Sapphire-Nitro-Radeon-RX-470-OC-4GB-GDDR5/123865878685?epid=1880420197&hash=item1cd6fb509d:g:T7AAAOSw5wVdSI6v

UK seller... if you want cheap video card, maybe you get lucky.

Here's one you can buy for 73 uk pounds : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ASUS-AMD-Radeon-RX-470-4GB-ROG-STRIX-OC-Graphics-Card/273956443995

Yes, the integrated graphics is modern, is decent, but for most games you won't play at more than 720p or 1680x1050 on low-medium quality.

A 8 uk pounds card like the GT 210 will run minecraft just fine, until you can afford to use a proper video card.  You can find a RX 470 or RX 570 for under 100 uk pounds ... get the Ryzen 1200 for 53 uk pounds and you have 47 uk pounds left in your budget... add 50 uk pounds and you get yourself a proper 1080p high-ultra video card for gaming.
